Tupton Hall Students Participate in Criminology Workshop

Year 7 students were given the fun opportunity to be criminologists earlier this week.

Students handled a 999 emergency call, examined a crime scene, analysed evidence, interviewed witnesses and took the suspect to trial where they debated the verdict. All pupils demonstrated fantastic team working, problem-solving and critical thinking, great skills in the 'courtroom' and showed a brilliant enthusiasm for Science.

Mrs Humphreys commented; "I am so proud of our Year 7 Science students! They were completely engaged and conducted themselves very respectfully during our Criminology workshop. Pupils were Criminology experts for the day as part of the Science department's enrichment curriculum and to celebrate British Science Week. Pupils were selected for having excellent attitude to learning scores in Science lessons."

A huge well done to all who participated!
