Longcliffe Calcium Carbonates:

As an established limestone and dolomite quarry for over 90 years, we are aware of the impact our industry can have on the planet. We are committed to developing new, sustainable ways to manage our sites. https://www.longcliffe.co.uk/

Hoe Grange Quarry:

This disused limestone quarry is owned by Longcliffe Quarries.  The site has not been worked since the early 90’s which means that nature has had plenty of time to develop. For a site of just short of 5 hectares it packs in a good mix of habitats. https://hoegrangequarry.co.uk in association with: Butterfly Conservation Trust: Butterfly Conservation chooses to be a leader in the fight for our natural world. To do that we need to build on our successes and be even more effective, to focus our resources to have a greater impact. We must build stronger collaborations, be part of nature’s recovery at a larger scale, and broaden our reach to ensure that everyone has access to and can enjoy the wonders of butterflies and moths. https://butterfly-conservation.org/

Derbyshire Wildlife Trust:

We've been protecting wildlife and wild spaces in Derbyshire since 1962.  As the leading conservation charity in Derbyshire, we work hard to support our local wildlife with the support of our wonderful volunteers and members. With 49 Nature Reserves across the county and countless conservation and wellbeing projects, we're pretty busy! https://www.derbyshirewildlifetrust.org.uk/

Derby University:

We are an applied research University that places research at the heart of our curriculum, demonstrates positive impacts for society and works with industry to drive business growth. https://www.derby.ac.uk/
