IMPACT DAY AT TUPTON HALL SCHOOL

Well done to all of our students who participated in our last IMPACT day of the academic year.

IMPACT days are designed to enrich students' learning outside the classroom, with the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that instil good values in our community.

Students are given the chance to learn about a variety of different topics, from an assembly on the dangers of sexting to the impact of global warming. Students were praised for their engagement and asking important questions to external visitors.

Students were also given the opportunity to participate in exciting interactive workshops, including a visit from the popular 'Prison! Me! No way!, and their replica prison cell. They heard emotional stories from offenders and were given the opportunity to ask questions.

There were also interactive first aid workshops, where students were taught how to perform CPR. These potentially life-saving lessons were popular with students. Students also got to experience the sensation of 'beer goggles', and were warned about the dangers associated with alcohol. A huge thank you to all external visitors, the day was a great success.
