Sixth Former's Question Time

Sixth Form students were given the opportunity to participate in a 'Question Time' style panel with 4 local politicians from the Green Party, the Labour Party, the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives.

This is the third time this event has taken place at school, and Mrs Burton described it as an "important legacy".

The representatives were each given the opportunity to answer fantastic and insightful student questions. The topics discussed varies, from local issues and resources, University fees, fair wages and life as a politician. Students were immersed in the conversation, listening intently as the panellists presented their responses.

"Students were excited and ready to get stuck in. A huge well done to Tabitha for running the even; she dd fantastically! Students were excited and inspired by the debates and it was brilliant to see how invested they were in the dialogue. Some students even stayed behind afterwards to ask more questions to the politicians in their own time."
