Year 8 Options Evening a Great Success
On Tuesday 29th March, Year 8 students and their parents were invited into school to discuss options choices.
Students have flexibility to choose some of the subjects that they will go on to study for their GCSE examinations, there are many ways that Tupton Hall School helps students to make these decisions, with guidance from form tutors and events like Options Evening.
Whilst some students already know which subjects they wish to study, it can be a difficult decision for others. The Year 8 Options Evening gives students and their guardians the opportunity to discuss their decisions with subject staff and to consider how their choices may affect their future studies and careers.
The evening was a great success with parents and student commenting on how insightful the evening was.
