County Champions

A massive well done to Tupton Hall School’s U16 girls who were crowned County Champions on Friday 2nd May 2025! An outstanding cup run was rewarded with the County title when the girls ran out 2-1 winners in the final against The Pingle Academy. The girls were rewarded for a dominant first half display and headed into half time with a 2-0 lead. A series of missed chances for Tupton Hall in the second half allowed The Pingle Academy to get back into the game but the girls showed incredible fight and desire to see the game out and be crowned County Champions.

Mr Edwards commented; "The girls are an absolute credit to the school and thoroughly deserve to be County Champions. I couldn't be prouder of the resilience, teamwork and determination they have shown throughout this cup run and over the last 5 years working with them. After a number of near misses in the National Cup in previous years, I'm delighted that the girls have got their hands on a trophy befitting of the hard work they have put in."
