Careers Fair Inspires Students with a World of Opportunities

Tupton Hall School recently welcomed an exciting range of employers, professionals, and education providers for our annual Careers Fair, giving students across the school the chance to explore future pathways and discover opportunities that match their interests and ambitions.

The event brought together representatives from a diverse mix of sectors, showcasing just how many routes are available to young people today. Students had the chance to meet:

  • The British Army, offering insight into military careers, skills development, and adventure‑based roles.
  • Universities from across the region, advising on courses, student life, and the academic routes available after Sixth Form.
  • Apprenticeship providers, who highlighted earn‑while‑you‑learn pathways into fields such as business, engineering, digital media, and public services.
  • NHS professionals, sharing their experiences working in vital healthcare roles and the huge range of careers available within the service.
  • Construction and engineering employers, demonstrating practical career options and routes into skilled trades.
  • Equestrian and animal‑care professionals, offering a unique look at careers working with horses and the wider animal‑care sector.
  • And many more, including local businesses, training organisations, and community partners.

Throughout the day, students asked thoughtful questions, gathered valuable advice, and learned about the different qualifications, skills, and experiences needed to pursue their aspirations. For many, the event opened new doors they hadn’t previously considered.

The Careers Fair forms an important part of our commitment to providing high‑quality careers education, ensuring every student is supported in making informed, confident decisions about their future.

We extend our sincere thanks to all the visitors who gave their time and expertise — your contribution helps inspire the next generation.
