Huge congratulations to Lewis, who was shortlisted in the top 10 in his category.
Although he didn’t take home the category win, he achieved something even more remarkable — he was one of a very select group of candidates offered an apprenticeship with Rolls-Royce.
Mrs Burton added:
“It is important to note that all of this has been organised by Lewis himself. He has worked so hard — with drive, determination and the support of his family — to achieve this recognition. Dream big, work hard and achieve those goals!”
Despite most shortlisted students being a year older, Rolls-Royce were so impressed that they’re happy to wait for Lewis to complete his A-Levels. The Emerging Talent team shared that they receive around 10,000 applications each year, making this an incredible achievement.
