✨ THS Sparkle Walk for Ashgate Hospice ✨

What an incredible day at Tupton Hall School! Our Charity Leaders led the way as students and staff took on the THS Sparkle Walk, completing as many laps of the track as possible to raise money for Ashgate Hospice 💙

There was no shortage of sparkle, with students embracing the theme in colourful outfits — pink and glitter were definitely the order of the day, and the effort was fantastic! 🌈✨
Together, our school community completed an amazing 901 laps — that’s 360,400 metres (224 miles!) 🤯

That’s the equivalent of walking all the way to Normandy, France!

Despite the 26°C heat, spirits stayed high. We even needed extra water deliveries to keep everyone going! 💧☀️

Highlights from the day included:

A spontaneous moonwalking trend started by Daniel, with students completing full laps backwards 🕺

Huge support from crowds cheering during break time 👏

Students showing real determination by taking part despite injuries 💪

Incredible individual efforts — including Dougie, who ran an outstanding 44 laps! 🏃

Mr Pateman said:

"The students should be really proud of what they have achieved. The positivity and camaraderie was immense — especially with how hot it has been. It was great to see the students cheering each other on for such a positive cause and I'm chuffed we're now past the halfway mark for our fundraising this half term. We have less than a grand to go — I know we can do it!"
