Students from Tupton Hall School visited Penny Engineering as part of the Made in Chesterfield initiative, which celebrates careers in manufacturing, engineering, and technology across the region.
⚙️ Seventeen Year 9 students attended alongside teachers Mr Robinson and Mr Watson, joining team members for a guided tour of the facilities. The visit included the design office and factory floor, where students observed CAD design in action and gained insight into the production process.
👤 Laura, Jack, and Mike shared experiences of working in engineering and highlighted the varied career paths available at Penny Engineering.
The enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the students served as a powerful reminder of the importance of inspiring the next generation of engineers.
