Thomas Celebrates Perfect Attendance with £50 Prize

Tupton Hall School is proud to celebrate the outstanding commitment of one of its students, Thomas, who has achieved 100% attendance not only for the current academic year so far, but also throughout the entirety of last year

Tupton Hall School is delighted to celebrate the incredible achievement of Thomas, who has maintained 100% attendance not only throughout this academic year so far, but also for the entirety of last year. His dedication to learning and consistent presence in school have earned him a £50 voucher, awarded as part of our ongoing efforts to recognise and reward excellent attendance.

Thomas’s achievement is a shining example of the commitment we encourage in all our students. Regular attendance is not just about being present — it’s about being engaged, prepared, and ready to succeed. Research shows that students with high attendance rates are significantly more likely to achieve strong academic outcomes. In fact, studies suggest that students who attend school regularly are up to 50% more likely to achieve higher grades compared to those with lower attendance.

Promoting Attendance Through Positive Initiatives

At Tupton Hall School, we understand that encouraging good attendance requires more than just reminders — it takes creativity, motivation, and a sense of community. That’s why we’ve introduced a number of exciting initiatives to help students stay on track:

  • 🎯 The Attendance Wheel: A fun and interactive way to celebrate students who meet attendance milestones. Names are entered into a prize draw and winners get to spin the wheel for a chance to win vouchers, treats, and other rewards.

  • 🎢 Alton Towers Trip: Students who reach our attendance target are invited to enjoy a free trip to Alton Towers, one of the UK’s top theme parks. It’s a fantastic incentive that combines fun with achievement, and gives students something exciting to work towards.

  • 🏆 Weekly and Termly Rewards: From shout-outs in assemblies to certificates and small prizes, we make sure that students who show commitment are recognised regularly.

These initiatives are part of a wider strategy to build a culture where attendance is valued and celebrated. We know that every day in school counts — and Thomas’s success is a testament to that.
