THS Bake Off raises money for Charlie's Place

How much do you think we raised?
How amazing are our students?
Students from Years 7 to 10 took part in a THS Bake Off Competition today. Judged by the Design and Technology team, a variety of fantastic baked creations went head-to-head and were ranked based on appearance, texture and flavour. The competition was tough and the standard was high but the judges eventually concluded that:
3rd Place - Bethany B with her Little Green Goblin Cupcakes
2nd Place - Ruby B with her Scrumptious Millionaire Shortbread Slices
1st Place - Jessica A with her Baa-eautiful Sheep Cake
Today's competition has also resulted with another shift in the House rankings. Each House was awarded the following amount of House Points:
Turbutt = 500 House Points
Cavendish = 400 House Points
Hunloke = 300 House Points
Gladwin = 200 House Points
Kenning = 100 House Points
A huge thank you from Mr Pateman and Mrs Slater to all who got involved and thank you to everyone who purchased a cake (or two!). Today we raised £174.29 for incredible local animal charity Charlie's Place.
