Tupton Hall School is proud to announce the launch of its very first student newspaper — the Tupton Hall Gazette — a publication written by students, for students.
This exciting new initiative showcases the voices, creativity, and talents of our sixth formers, with contributions from some of our highest-achieving Year 12 and 13 students. The Gazette will be published on a bi-weekly basis, offering a range of content including opinion pieces, interviews, creative writing, and topical articles across various columns. It aims to celebrate student achievement, encourage journalistic expression, and foster a sense of community within the school.
In a message from Milan Tutt, one of the key student editors, he shared:
“I’m very pleased to share with you the first edition of the Tupton Hall Gazette. This edition includes our welcome note, articles across different columns, as well as interviews and student contributions.”
Staff are encouraged to incorporate the Gazette into tutor time discussions and to promote student engagement by directing pupils to access it via Class Charts.
This marks a significant step in amplifying the student voice at Tupton Hall School, and we look forward to seeing the Gazette grow and evolve with each edition.
